Peel&Stick provides ease of installation:
Wall planks in general are typically fastened mechanically, by use of nails, screws, etc. We enhanced our planks with peel&stick adhesive bands on their back side. On suitable surfaces, this will make your application very easy. On others you might need to use nails.
Best surface for adhesion is drywall. You can expect a strong hold that will last a very long time. If you are unsure of your substrate, you can always screw a 1/4″ drywall on it before applying the planks on that good surface.
Any surface that has dust, dirt, grease, or grime on it will greatly reduce the strength of the adhesive. If the surface has paint on, strength of adhesion will be limited to how strong the paint is holding on to the substrate behind it.
Surfaces that are rough, uneven, and porous (for instance a brick wall) will not provide hold. These types of surfaces will require nails for installation (unless you apply a quarter inch drywall on that surface and proceed with application on that drywall).
Surfaces that are flat and non-porous (such as a plastic or metal sheet) will provide a good bond.
In any case, if you are unsure about your substrate, you can always install using the peel&stick first and later reinforce the areas that need it with nails.
Technically ideal environment:
These planks are made of natural wood. That means they are vulnerable to humidity and temperature changes. Ideal humidity levels in the room of installation should be between %35-65, and ambient temperature between 55-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Large variations in temperature (and especially humidity) can cause movement in planks such as expansion/contraction/bowing. These planks should not be installed on exteriors and are only suitable for interior spaces. A good rule of thumb is, if you’re comfortable with the temperature and humidity in a room year-round, it’s a good place to install these planks. If your planks somehow ended up absorbing humidity and bowing, wait until the environment and the planks get back to their regular moisture levels, then locate bowed pieces, press them back against the wall flat and stabilize using nails/screws.

Important info about color tones:
Production is done 100% by hand. There may be tone and texture differences between materials that come from different batches.
Additionally, photos are similar representations of colors but not a precise depiction of the exact tones. We spend every effort to get as close to the actual tones as technically possible, however there are always inevitable differences. In case of any second thoughts, we suggest ordering a sample package first. They will be fully deducted from your actual order. Samples can be found under the ‘samples’ category.
Returns & refunds:
On Wooden Wall Plank lines, we accept returns on undamaged merchandise for up to 30 days from the date materials are received. Return shipment is payable by the customer.
If you’d like help with calculating the exact quantity you need, just contact us. We’ll be happy to help.
If you have any doubts about the tones or would like to see the product closely first, you can order samples (found under the ‘samples’ category) to see it in person. We’ll send you a coupon in the amount of your samples purchase, so you can deduct it from your actual purchase.
Damage or loss during transit:
Don’t have any worries about damage or loss during transit. We take responsibility for these events until materials reach you. It’s a simple process to get replacement for what’s been damaged/lost:
- If shipment was delivered by parcel (Fedex, Ups, Dhl, etc.) please take photos and let us know the extent of damage (Photos are important because we need them to open our own claim with the carriers). We’ll either ship you replacement materials or refund you for whatever has been damaged, in a quick manner and without any hardship.
- If shipment is being delivered by freight, driver will ask you to sign a delivery document (called POD). Please indicate the damage or loss in that document, and take photos of both the damage and the document, then let the driver leave. Simply email us those photos and let us know the extent of damage, and we’ll ship you replacement materials. How important is it that you indicate the damage/loss on POD? Very important. We need it to open our own claim with the truckers, because without it, they’ll decline us right away.
What happens if material appears to be free of damage from the outside but you run into some broken pieces after opening the boxes? Don’t worry. This is called “concealed damage” and we cover that as well!
